Due to phishing attempts throught Europe...
In the light of frequent phishing attempts, we want to emphasize that mBank does not send emails requiring the usage of passwords, PINs or disclosing confidential information i.e. personal details. If you receive such an email please contact the mLinia. Do not, under any circumstances, disclose your TAN numbers or passwords.
The same applies to phone calls. If you should disclose your password to anyone we strongly advise you change it immediately and contact the mBank call center.
What should I do if my address or telephone number has changed?
It is important you contact the mLinia if any of your telephone numbers, email account, permanent or temporary address changes.
If any personal data on your ID or Card of Residency has changed or if a new card has been issued also contact the mLinia and provide your current data.

What should I do if I get an email requesting my TAN number?
Online banks across Europe have recently been the target of a fraud which uses fake e-mails to encourage customers to enter their security details into a counterfeit copy of their website. mBank will never send you an e-mail asking you to reconfirm your security details. mBank will never ask you to disclose your passwords via email.
If you receive such an email please contact the mBank call center - the mLinia.
You should not, under any circumstances, disclose your TAN (Transactional Access Numbers) or full passwords.
How can I protect myself from security holes/bugs, since I know this can affect the safety of my online banking operations?
It is very important to check your operating system's and Web browser's web sites for software patches and updates. Some operating systems and software can be configured to automatically check for new updates. To access Microsoft's currently published patches click here.

We sincerely urge you to download the recently published Microsoft cumulative update for the Internet Explorer. This "patch" addresses a number of previously identified IE 5.01/5.5/6.0/6.0 for Windows Server 2003 security issues, about which you can read more here.
