We decided to cut financing for the coal power industry and coal mines.
In March 2019 we decided to change the rules of lending to the mining and coal power industries. On 1 April 2019 mBank stopped financing new coal mines and coal-fired power plant units. In addition, we will not enter into relationships with companies in which more than 50% of electrical energy comes from coal (the share will be measured based on the power generation capacity).
