New functionality for servicing payments submitted in the form of SWIFT MT101 messages

Be informed that BRE Bank SA implemented a new functionality for servicing payments submitted in the form of SWIFT MT101 messages (the so-called Request for Transfer). The new functionality allows Clients of BRE Bank to select the order release mode in field 23E: (‘Instruction Code’) of SWIFT MT101 message, by using the following word codes: ‘URGP’ and ‘RTGS’. The Bank's interpretation of those codes: URGP: in the case of foreign payments, this code denotes 'URGENT' release mode (with value date D+1 for the beneficiary's bank), for currencies to which this procedure applies (as per the Tariff of Banking Fees and Commissions), RTGS: in the case of foreign payments, this code denotes 'EXPRESS' release mode (with value date D for the beneficiary's bank), for currencies to which this procedure applies (as per the Tariff of Banking Fees and Commissions), in the case of domestic payments (payments in PLN to other domestic banks), this code denotes execution of a low-value instruction (below PLN 1 million) via SORBNET System on day D (excluding transfers to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and tax authorities, in accordance with respective regulations).
