mBank S.A. would like to inform you about amendments to the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing Bank Accounts at mBank S.A., in particular about:

• modification of provisions on the Bank Guarantee Fund;
• adding an obligation for the Customer to inform mBank S.A. if the Customer performs business activity consisting in granting consumer loans in the capacity of a lending institution;
• introduction of the following material reasons authorising the Bank to terminate the bank account agreement: 1) the Customer’s failure to satisfy the obligations imposed in the Act of 16 November 2000 on Counteracting Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing and 2) the Customer’s failure to submit, at the request of mBank S.A., the statement required under the Act of 27 October 2015 on the Performance of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government  of the United States of America to Improve International Tax Compliance and to Implement FATCA.

The amended Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing Bank Accounts at mBank S.A. enter into force on 17 November 2016.
