Changes to the “Terms and Conditions for Corporate Payment Cards Issued by mBank S.A.”

Dear Sirs,

mBank S.A. would like to inform you that on 2 November 2016 changes will be made to the “Terms and Conditions for Corporate Payment Cards Issued by mBank S.A.

The changes will concern, in particular:

1) distribution of corporate payment cards

So far your payment cards have been sent to the corporate branches of mBank.

Following the change, payment cards will be sent directly to the Users - to the User’s mailing address specified in the card applications:

  • Visa Business payWave, MasterCard Corporate Paypass – by Poczta Polska unregistered priority letter ,
  • Visa Business Gold payWave, MasterCard Corporate Gold Paypass, Visa Business Platynowa payWave with additional cards (IAPA Priority Pass) – by courier.

As of 1 January 2017, the aforementioned change will apply to all the payment cards renewed, issued to replace the frozen and duplicate cards.
Until the end of 2016, the payment cards renewed and issued to replace the frozen cards will be sent under the existing principles (i.e. to the corporate branches of mBank). By the end of 2016, duplicate cards will be issued under the existing principles (i.e. the cards will be sent to the corporate branches of the Bank), unless the User provides the mailing address (to which the card is to be sent) when requesting the duplicate card.

2) implementation of the 3-D Secure standard

The 3D Secure security standard – (“MasterCard SecureCode” for MasterCard cards or “Verified by VISA” for VISA cards) to make transactions on the Internet secure, at merchants offering such a solution. The 3D Secure security standard will cover the cards of Users whose mobile phone number was registered in mBank’s system.

If a mobile phone number of a given User has not been registered with mBank, it will be impossible for the User to execute the transaction using the 3D Secure Standard.

The 3D Secure standard will be implemented in stages from 10 October 2016 and the Users of particular cards will be informed of the date of implementation of the standard in the electronic banking system mBank CompanyNet and via mBank’s website https://www.mbank.pl/msp-korporacje/.

In view of the aforementioned changes, it is necessary to supplement and update the data relating to mailing addresses and mobile phone numbers of the card Users. The Client should update the data by 31 December 2016. The update will involve filling in the attached form, signing it in accordance with the Client representation principles and submitting it to mBank’s corporate branch providing customer service to the Client.

If the data are not updated, the cards issued from 1 January 2017 will be sent to the last mailing addresses of the Users known to the Bank entered in the Bank’s database (which were provided in the application for a card).

Should you have any questions or doubts, please contact your account manager in a corporate branch of mBank.
