Dear Sir/Madam,
 
in connection with the entry into force of the Act of 11 May 2017, which amends the following:

• the Act on the Social Insurance System,
• the Labour Code, and
• certain other Acts,

the method of settling social insurance contributions will be changed as of 1 January 2018.
 
Starting from 1 January 2018, all obligations towards ZUS will have to be settled in the form of a single domestic transfer in PLN and not with the use of the dedicated form for transfers to ZUS. It will also be possible to place the new payment orders to ZUS using mass payments.
 
Pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, by 31 December 2017, each social contribution payer will be assigned a new, individual account number, to which they will have to transfer the contributions to ZUS. Each individual account number of a social contribution payer will comprise the following:

At the same time, please be informed that the method of settling social insurance contributions available hitherto in mBank’s electronic banking systems will be available until 29 December 2017, 8:00 PM. 
 
After 8:00 PM on 29 December 2017:

• the dedicated form for making social insurance contributions will no longer be available in mBank’s electronic banking systems CompanyNet and BRESOK (after establishing a connection with the bank), and
• payments to ZUS sent with the use of dedicated Mass Payment Plus communications will no longer be accepted for execution.

 
As of 30 December 2017, all payments to ZUS with execution dates in 2018 will only be accepted in the form of domestic transfers to the individual accounts assigned to the social contribution payers by ZUS.
 
In view of the above, please be informed that as of 14 October 2017, it will no longer be possible to place payment orders to ZUS with execution dates falling after 29 December 2017 in the form applicable hitherto.
