New payment form for the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) contributions - change as of 1 January 2018

Dear Sir/Madam,

With reference to the messages from 2 and 3 October 2017 concerning the new payment form for the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) contributions, please be reminded that the method of settling social insurance contributions will be changed as of 1 January 2018.
Starting from 1 January 2018, all ZUS payments will have to be settled in the form of a single domestic transfer in PLN only from PLN accounts and not with the use of the dedicated form for transfers to ZUS (which has been the case until now). It will also be possible to place new ZUS payment orders using mass payments, mass payment plus as well as Express Elixir. Additionally, it will be not possible to settle new ZUS orders with the use of BlueCash and Sorbnet payments. Orders improperly marked as Sorbnet will be settled via the Elixir system.
Changes will also be introduced in a paper-based payment order, whose template can be found in the ZUS presentation below.

ZUS

At the same time, please be informed that the method of settling social insurance contributions available hitherto in mBank’s electronic banking systems will be available until 29 December 2017, 8:00 PM.

From 10 November 2017, you can save a new counterparty with an account number assigned by ZUS in the domestic orders database in the mBank CompanyNet system.

It will be possible to add a counterparty with a new account number dedicated for paying ZUS contributions to the database of domestic counterparties in the BRESOK system after updating the database of banks after 1 January 2018.

Should you have any questions, please contact your Account Manager or our Contact Center.
