Information on transaction service provided by mBank on 12 November 2018

On 12 November 2018, just like on any other business day:

  • electronic banking systems will be available,
  • term deposits, and domestic and foreign payments ordered in the electronic banking systems will be executed. They will be posted with value date of 12 November 2018,
  • incoming payments will be executed,
  • entering into transactions will be facilitated on the currency mPlatform,
  • card transactions will be executed,
  • credit principal and interest repayments will be made in the systems. If there are insufficient funds in your account to make a repayment, we will not charge late payment interest for that day,
  • Contact Centre - hotline for electronic banking system users will operate as usual, i.e. from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm.

Yet, there are some exceptions:

  • suspended incoming and outgoing payments awaiting manual handling and requiring additional information (missing essential data) will be executed on 13 November,
  • cash service will be provided as on any other public holiday (non-trading day),
  • credit disbursements will not be available on 12 November,
  • Corporate Branches and Corporate Bureaus will be closed,
  • dealers will not provide direct service of financial market transactions over the phone,

The above information arises from:

  • establishing a public holiday on 12 November 2018 (under the Act of 24 October 2018 on Establishing a National Holiday to Mark the 100th Anniversary of Poland’s Independence), and
  • decision of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) and the Polish Clearing House (KIR) on making 12 November an operating day with regular working hours in terms of settlements (Elixir and SORBNET2).
