Sanctions on Russian banks which have an impact on the execution of foreign payments

In connection with the unstable situation in Eastern Europe, following banks have sanctions imposed:

    NOTE: From 20 March 2022, these three entities are prohibited from providing specialized financial messaging services (SWIFT) used for the exchange of financial data.

Under the current circumstances, foreign transfers to beneficiaries holding accounts with the above-mentioned banks may be:

  • delayed or withheld both by intermediary banks and a beneficiary's bank,
  • returned by intermediary banks or a beneficiary's bank,
  • such transfers may even result in loss of transferred funds.


Please remain cautious about meeting your obligations toward beneficiaries holding accounts with the sanctioned banks.
We are monitoring the situation with regard to transfer settlement on an ongoing basis. If the list of sanctioned entities is expanded, we will notify you immediately.
