Browser configuration - mBank CompanyNet

Below, you will find instructions for a correct configuration of the Internet browser so that it is compatible with the mBank CompanyNet platform. Internet Explorer is the recommended browser. The mBank CompanyNet platform is compatible with the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 7
  • Internet Explorer, version 8 and higher
  • Mozilla Firefox, version 4 and higher
  • Google Chrome

Internet browsers are subject to constant changes and upgrades, and their security settings are getting more and more effective. Therefore, we recommend that the software used, including the operating system and the browser, be protected on a regular basis. It is of key importance to install the current patches, which are usually published on the websites of software manufacturers. They provide protection against any unauthorised and potentially dangerous use of the browser.

Configuration

  • 1.  

    Configuration of Internet Explorer, version 7 and higher

    • Internet Explorer is the recommended browser for the mBank CompanyNet platform. In order for the browser to contain the software elements necessary to guarantee safe connection with the Bank, it is recommended to download the latest updates from the Microsoft website: http://www.microsoft.com.pl
      To configure the browser correctly, follow the instructions below.

      1. Select the “Tools” tab and then click on “Internet options”

       

      2. Select the “Privacy” tab and then click on “Settings”

       

      3. Click on “Add” and enter trusted sites, as demonstrated below

       

      4. Select the option “Trusted sites”, then click on “Non-standard level”

       

      5. In the window “Security settings”, select the option “Enable” in the section “Automatic prompting for file downloads”.

    • Internet Explorer is the recommended browser for the mBank CompanyNet platform.       1. Select the “Tools” tab and then click on “Internet options”

       

      2. Select the “Privacy” tab and then click on “Settings”

    Configuration of Mozilla Firefox, version 4 and higher

    • Mozilla Firefox, version 4 and higher, is also a recommended browser for the CompanyNet platform. In order for the browser to contain the software elements necessary to guarantee safe connection with the Bank, it is recommended to download the latest updates from the producer’s website: www.firefox.pl. .
      To configure the browser correctly, follow the instructions below.


      1. Select the “Tools” tab and then click on “Options”.

       

      2. Select the “Content” tab and then click on “Exceptions”.

      The Java (TM) Platform add-on should be installed in order to ensure proper support of logging in to the CompanyNet platform and authorising payments using certificates.

      To properly install and configure the required add-on, follow the instructions below:

      1. Select the “Tools” tab and then click on “Add-ons”.


      2. On the add-on list, check whether the Java (TM) Platform SE add-on, version U7 or higher, has been installed.
      If not, go to www.java.com and install the add-on for the Mozilla Firefox browser.
      3. Following the installation of the add-on, or if there is a problem with certificate support, go to the “Tools” tab, then click on “Add-ons” and make sure if the Java (TM) Platform SE add-on is enabled.


      4. Following the successful configuration of the Java (TM) Platform SE add-on support, it should only be possible to disable the add-on in “Tools” and then “Add-ons” tabs.

  • 4.  

    Google Chrome browser settings

    • The CompanyNet platform can be accessed using the Google Chrome browser. It is recommended to download the latest version of the browser from http://www.google.pl/intl/pl/chrome/ prior to using the CompanyNet platform.
      The browser with the default settings should be compatible with the CompanyNet platform.

      If there are problems displaying data in the browser, you should allow “cookies” and the execution of the JavaScript code. To check your settings, click on Settings (the option is available when you select the icon  in the browser bar), then click on Show advanced settings and select the option Content settings. If the browser is configured correctly, local data storage should be enabled and the execution of JavaScript code should be allowed, as shown below.

      The Java (TM) Platform add-on should be installed in order to ensure proper support of logging in to the CompanyNet platform and authorising payments using certificates.

      If the add-on is not installed, go to www.java.com and install it. If the add-on is correctly installed, it allows you to use certificates on the CompanyNet platform after restart.
