To companies operating in the financial industry effective protection of client data and privacy is a prerequisite for credibility. At mBank this area is governed by the Personal Data Security Policy developed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It stipulates the principles laid down in the GDPR and the rights of data subjects.

- 8 complaints about breaching client privacy and losing client data filed by external parties were confirmed by the organisation (all complaints concerned mFinanse)
- 1 complaint was filed by the supervisory authorities (concerning mFinanse)
- 39 cases of client data leaks, theft or loss were identified by the organisation (36 at mBank, 1 at mBank Hipoteczny and 2 at mFinanse)
