mBank Group Sustainability Report for 2024 is now available!  

This is the first report that we have prepared in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We are proud to present the progress of our strategy in the environmental, social and corporate governance dimensions, also highlighting the biggest challenges.
Sustainable development is a key component of a strong, competitive and modern economy. As one of the largest financial institutions in Poland, we engage financial and intellectual capital, as well as technology to support our clients in their activities on the path towards sustainable development. We make every effort to ensure that mBank Group is a safe and inclusive workplace where our employees feel appreciated and are offered equal opportunities for professional development. We have based our organizational culture and operations on the principles of corporate governance that takes into account the issues of sustainable development. The double materiality assessment process carried out in 2024 helped us to better understand not only how the external environment affects us and what risks and opportunities this generates for our business, but also what impacts our operations have on the Group's key stakeholders and the natural environment.

<li>We finance environmentally sustainable projects. mBank's portfolio of investments in renewable energy sources reached PLN 4.8 billion, and under the current strategy we have already provided PLN 7.6 billion of sustainable financing, additionally mobilising PLN 8.5 billion of capital on the financial market. Sales of mortgages on properties with low energy demand (NZEB-10% standard) increased in 2024 to over 13% of the total volume of mortgage loans. mBank Group's Green Asset Ratio (GAR), calculated as part of the disclosures of the EU Taxonomy, is one of the highest in the sector!</li>
<li>We calculate the carbon footprint of our Scope 1, 2 and 8 out of 15 Scope 3 categories. We were the first bank in Poland to set science-based decarbonisation targets using the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) methodology.</li>
<li>From 1 January 2025, as many as 50% of investment solutions offered by mTFI promote environmental or social aspects.</li>
<li>Women account for 37.5% of the management bodies of mBank Group's main subsidiaries and 53% share in the succession programme.</li>
<li>In June 2024, together with the United Nations, as part of the UNEP FI initiative, mBank announced the goal of increasing and maintaining the financial resilience and well-being of Poles by supporting the management of expenses and building a financial cushion. The goal by the end of 2025 is to increase to minimum 50% the share of customers who believe they are financially resilient. In 2024, we achieved it by reaching 54%, leveraging the Personal Finance Manager (PFM) tool in our mobile application, which was already used by 1.92 million users at the end of 2024!</li>
<li>We are proud to remain a partner of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) as a sponsor, as well as an institution providing financial support for fundraisers and the foundation itself.</li>

Changes in the Tariff of Banking Fees and Commissions of mBank for SME and Corporates

We made some cosmetic and minor changes, including:

<li>modification in the area of MT940/CAMT statements,</li>
<li>removal of fees and commissions for the Visa Business Prepaid Card (this card is no longer on offer),</li>
<li>correction of certain fees for third-party guarantees and import letters of credit.</li>

Electronic postal order and change in the price list of Poczta Polska for postal order

If you need a copy of the postal money order payment confirmation, you can submit a request to mBank Company Net . The scope of the data entered on the postal money order format and the format of the files will not change.
From 31st December 2024 we will change the price list for postal orders payable to Poczta Polska. This is due to a price change at the Poczta Polska and the digitization of the process.

Information on audit opinions (bank confirmations)

How to apply for an audit opinion (bank confirmations)? You can apply for an audit opinion online via mBank CompanyNet. In order to do so, use the Application to the Bank - Audit Opinion. The application prepared by an auditor must be signed by authorised representatives of your company (obligatorily) - please use handwritten signatures or qualified electronic signatures. &nbsp; Attach a scan of the auditor&rsquo;s application for an opinion to the Application to the Bank - Audit Opinion. Do not send us the application in paper form if you have already applied online. The audit application should include:
<ul>
<li>REGON number of the client referred to in the application,</li>
<li>authorisation for mBank to provide the auditor with information subject to banking secrecy,</li>
<li>auditor&rsquo;s email address to which the audit opinion will be sent.</li>
</ul>
 You can still apply for an audit opinion in paper form. Do not forget that applications in paper form must also be signed by authorised representatives of your company and must include the data indicated above. Amendments to the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing an Integrated Bank Account at mBank S.A.

On 23 December 2024, the amended Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing an Integrated Bank Account at mBank S.A. will enter into force. In Part II of the Regulations we added provisions on the possibility of deleting electronic applications that have not been authorised for 90 days from the mCN system. Additionally:

<li>we updated the customer card and the user card in connection with the option to order tokens using:</li>
</ul>
- an electronic application, - the customer card, - an instruction to order tokens

<li>we added the following provision to the identification card:</li>
</ul>
'If there is no signature of the customer&rsquo;s representative (personal data owner) on the card, the customer undertakes to acquaint the customer&rsquo;s representative (personal data owner) with the rules of data processing available at <a title="Tarif" href="http://brebank.pl/info/formularze_i_regulaminy/">https://www.mbank.pl/mcn-en/</a>'. Changes to the EuroEkspres and International Credit Transfer related to ISO 20022

On 2 December 2024, we will modify the EuroEkspres and international transfer forms. We will implement the structured counterparty address by adding new address fields:<ul><li>street,</li><li>building no.,</li><li>suite no.,</li><li>postal code,</li><li>city (mandatory),</li><li>country (mandatory).</li></ul>We will also make it possible to:<ul><li>add additional address details of the counterparty, e.g. city district or building name,</li><li>provide the purpose of the transaction, additional instructions, and additional identification data of the counterparty.</li></ul>  Reason for the changes The changes stem from the introduction of ISO 20022, an international, uniform electronic communication standard for financial systems. Information exchange is based on XML files with a clearly defined data structure. Before we fully transition to the new communication standard, we will give you some time to adapt. Until November 2026, you will be able to use both the structured and the unstructured address (thanks to the option ’Switch address field’). To facilitate the transition to the new form, we will make it possible to import transfers in the new XML (ISO 20022) PAIN.001.001.09 version. As required by SWIFT, in November 2026 we will remove the unstructured address from the international transfer and EuroEkspres transfer forms. From December 2024, we will not issue confirmations for executed foreign payments in the form of SWIFT MT103 messages. Confirmations currently available in mBank CompanyNet contain a unique payment ID called UETR (Unique End-to-End Transaction Reference), which allows you to track your payments along the entire payment chain.   For more information on the upcoming changes in the payments area, go to <a href="https://www.mbank.pl/pomoc/akty-prawne/iso/" title="ISO">site</a>. Suspended calculation and collection of the commission for maintaining a pre-defined balance as at the beginning of the first business day of every calendar year

The commission is defined in the Tariff of Banking Fees and Commissions of mBank for SME and Corporates, Chapter I. Bank Accounts - A. Bank accounts and cash transactions:&nbsp; '46. Maintaining a total of positive balances exceeding jointly PLN 5 million in all current accounts, auxiliary accounts, Auto Overnight - automatic deposit accounts or Auto Overnight - Automatic Overnight Deposits, and in term deposits held with the Bank as at the beginning of the first business day of each calendar year - 0.32% of the total of positive balances in PLN (the entire balance) at the beginning of the first business day of each calendar year in all current accounts, auxiliary accounts, Auto Overnight - automatic deposit accounts or Auto Overnight - Automatic Overnight Deposits, and in the Client&rsquo;s term deposits held with the Bank.
NOTE To calculate the total balance, we add up the positive balances of accounts, Auto Overnight deposits and term deposits maintained in currencies other than PLN - and we convert the balances in other currencies into PLN using the average exchange rate from the applicable Table of Exchange Rates of mBank S.A. The Bank calculates the commission at the beginning of the first business day of each calendar year and charges the commission within 30 days from that date. Change in the price list of Poczta Polska for postal order

From 1st September 2024, we will change the price list for postal orders payable to Poczta Polska. These changes are the result of price increases introduced by the postal operator.
