Pascal Ruhland – Chief Financial Officer, mBank 

Pascal Ruhland has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of mBank since 2023, bringing over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. With a strong background in finance, corporate banking, and retail banking, he has worked across multiple international markets, including Germany, Poland, Hong Kong/China, and the UK.

Before joining mBank, Pascal held several leadership roles at Commerzbank AG. Most recently he served as CFO for the Corporate & Investment bank and was a key designer of the strategic picture 2024.

At mBank, Pascal is responsible for Finance, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Data Management, Procurement, and Administration. His forward-thinking approach fosters innovation in digital finance, capital markets (I.e. first-ever publicly distributed AT1) and other banking solutions.

Pascal holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt am Main. To further strengthen his leadership and financial expertise, he has completed executive programs at globally renowned institutions, including the Strategic Financial Leadership Program for CFOs at Stanford University, the Executive Program for Prospective CFOs at Chicago Booth, and the Leading Digital Transformation Program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
