SORBNET settlement system migration

On that day, temporary delays in order processing within the SORBNET system may occur. This is a nationwide initiative affecting all banks and financial institutions participating in the SORBNET system. The migration of all participants will take place simultaneously between &nbsp;5&ndash;8 September 2025.
This change will not affect payment processing in mBank CompanyNet.
Due to the SORBNET system migration:
<ul>
<li>on 5 September the cut-off time for outgoing SORBNET transfer orders will be exceptionally shortened to 2:00 PM.</li>
<li>bank statements for Friday will be made available with a delay. Files in MT940, CAMT.053, and HTML/PDF formats containing transactions from 5 September 2025, will be available in mBank CompanyNet on Monday, 8 September.</li>
</ul>
As of September 8th, the National Bank of Poland will increase its fees for transfers processed via the SORBNET system.&nbsp; The NBP fee for a transfer of PLN 1 million or more will be PLN 4.00, and for a transfer of less than PLN 1 million, PLN 9.00.

Amendments to the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing an Integrated Bank Account

We updated the rules for executing domestic and foreign payments, mass transfers, postal orders as well as payment orders and collections on behalf of third parties executed by payment service providers and their agents:
<ol>
<li>the updated rules are provided in Appendix No. 2 to the Regulations &ldquo;Rules for Executing Payments at mBank&rdquo;,</li>
<li>the appendix provides details about, among others</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>types of payments executed at mBank,</li>
<li>data required for the execution of payment orders,</li>
<li>current links to websites featuring, among others, the payment order execution schedule,</li>
<li>rules for suspending or rejecting the execution of payment orders by mBank.</li>
</ul>
In Part I of the Regulations:
<ul>
<li>we deleted the definition of the number of employees from the provisions concerning the statement on the number of employees; the new definition is provided on mBank&rsquo;s website dedicated to <a title="FINREP" href="https://www.mbank.pl/en/help/finrep/">FINREP</a> (Article 67).</li>
</ul>
In Part II of the Regulations:
<ul>
<li>we deleted the chapters dedicated to the rules of settling domestic payments, foreign payments and postal orders.</li>
</ul>

Amendments to the Regulations on Opening, Holding and Closing Bank Accounts at mBank S.A.

We made the following amendments:
<ul>
<li>we updated the rules for executing domestic and foreign payments, mass transfers, postal orders as well as payment orders and collections on behalf of third parties executed by payment service providers and their agents:</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>the updated rules are provided in Appendix No. 2 to the Regulations &ldquo;Rules for Executing Payments at mBank&rdquo;,</li>
<li>the appendix provides details about, among others:</li>
</ol>
a. types of payments executed at mBank, b. data required for the execution of payment orders, c. current links to websites featuring, among others, the payment order execution schedule, d. rules for suspending or rejecting the execution of payment orders by mBank,
<ul>
<li>we added a provision saying that if you intend to deposit funds subject to protection under generally applicable laws, you must notify us about this and meet the conditions set out in the Regulations (Article 5 (7)),</li>
<li>we clarified that you must notify us immediately about any changes to the Specimen Signature Card (Article 16, Article 23), and that non-residents must confirm data changes in accordance with the rules set out in the Regulations (Article 16),</li>
<li>we specified the scope of a general power of attorney within the meaning of the Regulations by clarifying that an attorney-in-fact has the right to use the funds in an account to the same extent as the customer (Article 18 (1)),</li>
<li>we clarified that if you want to grant a power of attorney to use the funds in your bank account by correspondence, you must provide the bank with a written power of attorney with notarised signatures and copies of identity documents notarised as true copies (Article 20 (1) (2)),</li>
<li>we modified the examples of important reasons authorising the bank to terminate a bank account agreement (Article 58 (2)):</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>we reworded Article 58 (2) (10) to indicate that a bank account agreement may be terminated if liquidation or enforcement proceedings were initiated against the customer, or if the customer is at risk of insolvency,</li>
<li>we added a new reason in Article 58 (2) (22) reading &ldquo;the Payment Service Provider&rsquo;s licence was revoked&rdquo;,</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>we deleted the definition of the number of employees from the provisions concerning the statement on the number of employees; the new definition is provided on mBank&rsquo;s website dedicated to <a title="FINREP" href="https://www.mbank.pl/en/help/finrep/">FINREP</a> (Article 67),</li>
<li>we added a provision that we can sign termination notices, statements of intent and knowledge, and notifications:</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>using a qualified electronic signature, or</li>
<li>in the case of statements of intent and knowledge, and notifications related to banking activities, using an advanced electronic seal of the bank or a qualified electronic seal of the bank (Article 75).</li>

Terms and Conditions for Corporate Debit Cards:

<li>We may refuse to authorize a transaction if it could violate international sanctions or the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (&sect; 23 sec. 1 point 7),</li>
<li>We have specified how to activate the card so that it can be automatically renewed (&sect; 30 sec. 4),</li>
<li>We have removed the provisions regarding cut-off times (&sect; 35 sec. 6 and 7),</li>
<li>We have updated the website address (&sect; 41 sec. 3),</li>
<li>We may ask the card user to send us a copy of correspondence with the service provider when disputing a transaction (&sect; 48 sec. 1 point 6). We have also described where to find the documents required to file a transaction complaint (&sect; 48 sec. 3),</li>

Changes in the Tariff of Banking Fees and Commissions of mBank for SME and Corporates

The key changes include:

<li>adding a fee for processing a resident&rsquo;s bank account application not submitted electronically,</li>
