BRE Bank was named the best bank in Poland by the prestigious Euromoney Magazine in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2011 contest. It is yet another award, preceded by the distinction awarded in April by Global Finance, which demonstrates the strong position of BRE on the Polish market. BRE was ranked first in the best bank category, in which banks are assessed in terms of their financial standing and performance, and their position on the domestic market. When justifying its decision, the jury of Euromoney Awards pointed out that BRE Bank grows faster compared to the market, holds assets totalling 90 billion, and that its performance exceeds analysts’ forecasts. Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2011 is an annual award granted by Euromoney Magazine, a magazine being one of the most important source of knowledge and information about the European financial market. Previously, the Euromoney Magazine recognized the private banking and asset management services provided by BRE Bank and named it The Best Private Banking in Poland. In April 2011, BRE Bank was awarded in the 'Best Emerging Market Banks In CEE' contest organised by Global Finance magazine.
