With reference to the unstable economic situation and the decision to temporarily close banks in Greece, we warn you against potential irregularities which are independent of our Bank.
They may occur during execution of foreign orders for the benefit of beneficiaries holding bank accounts in Greece.
Under the current circumstances, such foreign payments may:
be delayed or withheld both by intermediary banks and the beneficiary’s bank,
be returned by intermediary banks or the beneficiary’s bank,
even result in loss of the transferred funds. You are requested to remain cautious about meeting your obligations to business partners holding bank accounts in Greece.
