We have also signed the UNEP-FI Commitment to Financial Health and Inclusion.

When can one say they enjoy financial health? It is when they can smoothly manage their current financial obligations and have confidence in their financial future. At mBank, we support you in achieving this state with the specific solutions we provide.

One of these solutions is the educational website www.twojaspokojnaglowa.pl. There, you can define your priorities in the field of healthy personal finance, read „how to' articles, and find links to our offer of banking products and services, which help you improve your financial condition. The content on this website is organized according to six principles. They assume that people who enjoy financial health:

1. use the internet safely,
2. spend their money consciously,
3. have a „financial cushion',
4. borrow wisely, for things they really need,
5. care for the security of themselves and their loved ones as well as  insure what is most valuable to them,
6. invest for the future.
- We want to build our clients’ awareness about financial health. We advise them on how to build a financial cushion and how to manage a household budget. We help them use the internet safely. We educate them in terms of investing, also with use of small amounts. I encourage everyone to take care of their financial health. This gives one independence and peace of mind

We commit to support your financial health

Simultaneously with the launch of the new website for our clients, we signed the Commitment to Financial Health and Inclusion. It has been developed by UNEP-FI, an organization from the UN family. We are the first financial institution from Poland to have signed this declaration. It is an extension of the UNEP-FI Principles of Responsible Banking, which we adopted in October 2021.

- We want to support our customers in better understanding the complicated world of finance - says Cezary Stypułkowski, CEO of mBank. - Our clients are young and we would like their financial maturity to be deeper. At the same time, we want our products to be designed in a responsible manner, to ensure that customers feel safe while using them - he adds.

In line with the UNEP-FI declaration, within 18 months we will adopt goals related to supporting inclusive banking and the financial health of our clients. In the following years, in turn, we will report on the progress in achieving these goals.
