| Letter from the Bank Guarantee Fund regarding the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (âMRELâ) for mBank S.A. The Management Board of mBank S.A. ("Bank") informs that on 6 May 2025 the Bank received a letter from the Bank Guarantee Fund (âBFGâ) concerning the joint decision of the resolution authorities, i.e. the Single Resolution Board and BFG in regards to the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities ("MREL"). The BFG informs of the updated MREL requirements compared to the levels communicated by the BFG on 9 April 2024, about which the Bank informed in the current report no. 18/2024 on 9 April 2024. The MREL requirement has been set for the Bank at the consolidated level, excluding mBank Hipoteczny from the consolidation, in accordance with Art. 97 (4a) of the Act on the Bank Guarantee Fund, the Deposit Guarantee Scheme and Resolution of 10 June 2016. MREL requirement was determined at the level of 15,36% of the total risk exposure amount ("TREA") and should be met by own funds and subordinated eligible liabilities at the level of 13,61% of TREA. MREL requirement in respect to total exposure measure (âTEMâ) was determined at the level of 5,91% and should be met by own funds and subordinated eligible liabilities at the level of 5,33% of TEM. The Common Equity Tier 1 (âCET1â) capital kept for the purposes of the combined buffer requirement amounting to 3,09% TREA cannot be included in MREL requirement in relation to TREA. The requirements should be met immediately after receiving the decision on MREL. As of 6 May 2025 the Bank meets all of the respective MREL requirements. | ||||||||||||
