activating and unblocking access to online banking
questions and answers
If you have forgotten your password or want to unblock access to online banking, you can do so in four different ways:
1. Do you have access to the mobile app?
• log in to the mBank mobile application
• in the app, select Menu > Settings > Security > Access to the bank
• check the access status under “online banking”
• if the status is ACTIVATE, click ACTIVATE
• if the status is BLOCK, click BLOCK and then ACTIVATE when the status changes
• we will call you and a voiceover will read out your temporary password
• you will receive an SMS with a temporary ID
• the temporary password and ID will be valid for 15 minutes; if you do not use them within this time, order the temporary login details again
• go to the login page, enter the temporary ID from the SMS and the temporary password read out to you by the voiceover and click NEXT
• set your new password (8 to 20 characters) - check out How do I build a secure password?
• confirm the change of password by mobile authorisation or SMS code
• we will then remind you of your permanent client’s ID

2. No access to the mobile app? Order an activation package
• to order a package, use one of the following options:
• go to the login page and click “Unblock access”, then select “VIA ONLINE BANKING” (you will need your ID), then enter the details required on the page and click SEND
• call mLine at + 48 42 6 300 800 (the call will be answered by our bot Marek – just say you don't remember your ID or ask to speak to a consultant)
• once you have done so, you will receive an e-mail with an activation package containing your ID and a temporary login password
• you will receive the activation package as an encrypted PDF file
• you will receive the file password by SMS
• go to the login page and enter your ID and temporary password from the PDF file and click NEXT
• the temporary password is valid for 48 hours (if you do not use it within this time, order a new activation package)
• set your new password (8 to 20 characters) - check out How do I build a secure password?
• confirm the change of password by mobile authorisation or SMS code
3. Failed to activate or unblock access to online banking via the website? Call mLine - you will need your ID and telecode for verification:
• create a new temporary password (8 to 20 digits)
• call mLine (+48 42 6 300 800) - your call will be answered by our bot Marek
• bot Marek will ask you for your details: ID, telecode, and the new temporary password
• go to the login page, enter your ID and the temporary password set on mLine and click NEXT

4. You can also visit an mBank branch.

• remember to bring a valid identity document
If you have access to mBank’s mobile app, you can check your ID:
• log in to the mBank mobile application
• in the app, select Menu > Settings > Security > Access to the bank
• under “client’s ID”, click SHOW
• confirm with your PIN
• your ID will be displayed on the screen
