Changes in the Management Board and Supervisory Board of BRE Bank

From the 1st of April Jarosław Mastalerz (present Member of the Management Board, Director of the Bank for Retail Banking) will become a Member of the Management Board, Director of the Bank for Operations and IT. He will replace Christian Rhino who is leaving for Commerzbank. Meanwhile, the function of a Member of the Management Board, Director of the Bank for Retail Banking will be entrusted to Cezary Kocik, current Managing Director for Retail Banking sales and Business Processes in Commerzbank’s polish subsidiary. Additionally, Stephan Engels, appointed by the Supervisory Board of Commerzbank as CFO since April will become a new member of the Supervisory Board of BRE Bank.Since 2004 Cezary Kocik has been associated with BRE Bank. He was Head of Retail Credit Risk Department. In 2007 he was Head of Multibank Marketing and Sales Department. Since 2008 he is Managing Director for retail banking sales and business processes. Cezary Kocik is President of the Management Board of Aspiro SA, a subsidiary of the Bank. He is member of the supervisory boards of the following subsidiaries of the Bank: Dom Inwestycyjny BRE Banku S.A., BRE Wealth Management SA and BRE UBEZPIECZENIA TUiR SA. Prior to the start as a Member of the Management Board of Commerzbank AG on 1. April 2012,  Mr. Stephan Engels has been a member of the Executive Committee of Mercedes-Benz Cars [with responsibility for Finance & Controlling] since 2007. In 1988 he joined Daimler-Benz AG, as the company was then called. Subsequently, he held various positions in Corporate Audit, Finance and Controlling and became Chief Financial Officer, DaimlerChrysler Financial Services AG in 2003. Stephan Engels was born on March 9, 1962 in Hamburg. He studied Economics and Social Sciences at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland from 1983 until 1987.
