Beware of fake e-mails!

Dear Clients

We would like to warn you against a dangerous scam using fake e-mails sent out to corporate clients.

Please be extremely careful if you receive e-mails with headers such as:
1. Faktura 07/18
2. deklaracja zus 07/18
3. Faktura Kancelaria


Such e-mails contain attachments in .zip, .vbs and .dll format.
Their names may be as follows: FV_87533914.zip, FV_87533914.vbs, htnvlDoN.dll.
Your device will be infected if you try to open the file.

Please remember that the above are only examples of e-mails that scammers may send.
They make take various forms. Please be careful with all unexpected messages and those coming from unknown senders.
If your device gets infected with a virus, you may see fake data on banks’ login pages or be redirected to websites resembling banks’ pages that will try to phish your login credentials. Read the text below to learn how to protect yourself against online threats.

Rules to remember:

If during logging in the system behaves in an unusual way:

  • the website crashes,
  • a “please wait” or a “temporary maintenance break” message appears, etc.
  • the system rejects login credentials and asks you to enter your ID and token code again,

please contact the bank immediately.


In addition, we want to warn you against the following symptoms:

  • outdated messages and graphics are displayed on the login page (e.g. dated 2016),
  • pictures and other graphics are not displayed,
  • the Contact Centre number is different (please remember that the Contact Centre numbers are always the same: 0 801 273 273, 22 6 273 273. It is worth to save them in your mobile today),
  • login window is distorted or looks different than usual.

Look at the example of a fake bank website presented below, which proves that the client’s computer has been infected with a virus:

If you notice any of the symptoms listed above or any other suspicious symptoms, contact the bank immediately.
