25.07.2012 Current report No. 56/2012         The Management Board of BRE Bank SA (the "Bank") announces that on 25 July 2012 the Supervisory Board of the Bank appointed Dirk Wilhelm Schuh member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank, effective as of 26 July 2012 until the expiry date of the current term of office of the Supervisory Board.Dirk Wilhelm Schuh was born on 29 September 1956. He is a graduate of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Bankakademie, and was awarded the title of a Bachelor of Banking Services and Operations (Bankfachwirt). He was employed with Dresdner Bank AG for 19 years. First, he worked in Dortmund where he dealt with credit risk and corporate banking. Later, from 1989 to 1991, he managed the team in the credit risk department at the Head Office of Dresdner Bank.In the years 1992-1995, he held the position of director of Dresdner Bank Branch in Dortmund, and in 1996 was responsible for development strategy of the corporate banking at the Head Office of Dresdner Bank.Since 1997, he managed this area of the bank in Dresden.In 1998, he was appointed regional manager for South-East, Dresdner Bank AG, Leipzig. In 2000, he became the spokesperson of the Management Board of Deutsche Hypothekenbank Frankfurt – Hamburg AG. In 2002, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Management Board of Eurohypo AG. He joined the Commerzbank Group in 2008, and since 2009 he has been holding the position of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer (Divisional Board Member – Group Risk Management (GRM); Chief Credit Officer – Commerzbank Group; Chief Operating Officer – GRM, Commerzbank AG).Dirk Wilhelm Schuh is a member of the Supervisory Board of GEWOBA AG.To the best knowledge of the Management Board of the Bank, Dirk Wilhelm Schuh is not involved in any business competitive with the Bank.Dirk Wilhelm Schuh is not registered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained under the National Court Register Act.Pursuant to the Best Practices of Companies Listed on the WSE, Dirk Wilhelm Schuh is not an independent member of the Supervisory Board of BRE Bank.
